Purpose
- Advise the commission concerning the use and amendment of means for carrying out plans
- Determine objectives to be sought in the development of the surrounding areas
- Develop and recommend policies, ordinances, administrative procedures, and other means for carrying out plans in a coordinated and efficient manner
- Exercise any functions in the administration and enforcement of various means for carrying out plans that the commission may direct
- Makes studies of the area within its jurisdiction and surrounding areas
- Perform any other related duties that the commission may direct
- Prepare and adopt plans for achieving these objectives
Authority
NCGS 160A-360, 160-A361, 160A-362. Must live in one mile extraterritorial jurisdiction.
