All doors and windows shall have no broken or missing glass and shall be in good working condition. All exterior doors including storm doors shall also meet this requirement.
All electrical devices, covers, and light fixtures must be in place and properly secured. All homes without smoke detectors must have and approved smoke detector outside bedrooms areas.
Floors shall have no holes, soft or rotten areas nor any apparent damage throughout the home.
All mobile homes must have a permanent central heating system.
All plumbing fixtures (sinks, lavatories, tubs, showers, water heaters, and toilets) shall be properly set and secured and properly plumbed to water and sewer.
Walls & Ceiling
All exterior and interior walls and ceilings shall have no damaged or missing areas (holes, paneling, sheet rock, etc.)
Do Not Underpin MFG Home Until Underside Has Been Inspected
Upon completion of all inspections by the Wayne County Inspection and Planning Departments, the electric inspection will be sent to the appropriate electric company and a letter of Compliance shall be issued.
Fees & Notes
All mobile home inspections shall be performed at the same time - building, interior, set-up, plumbing and electrical.
