Child Health Services
The Child Health Clinic encourages healthy growth and development to reduce the risk of illness for children 2 months - 21 years of age. This is done through prevention, early identification, treatment and intervention.

Family Planning Program
The Family Planning Program provides confidential pregnancy prevention to females and eligible males and initial Level I infertility services to females of childbearing age.

Health Education / Health Promotion Division
The goal of the Health Education/Health Promotion Division of the Wayne County Health Department is to provide health information and to promote positive policy and environmental changes that will encourage local citizens to make healthier lifestyle choices, thereby improving their health and overall sense of well being.

The Child Care Health Consultation program works with child care providers and parents that have children ages 0-5 years of age.

The Wayne County Health Department Maternal Health Program provides prenatal care to eligible women of Wayne county without regard to race, color, national origin or handicap condition.

Medical Nutrition Therapy Program
The Wayne County Health Department Nutrition Section provides Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for eligible Wayne County residents whose health is threatened by chronic, episodic or acute conditions for which nutrition therapy is a critical component of medical management.

The Pharmacy Department provides supportive pharmaceutical services to all programs offered by the Wayne County Health Department.

The Wayne County Health Department Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) clinic provides screening, testing, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases.

WIC is available to pregnant, breast feeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to age 5.
