The following schedule changes will take place next week in observance of Memorial Day:
- County of Wayne Government Offices will be closed Monday, May
3130, 2022. Offices will re-open Tuesday, May 31, 2022 for normal business hours. - All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed Monday. Library branches will re-open on Tuesday for normal business hours.
- The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Monday. The Senior Center will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
- The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
- The Goldsboro Wayne Transit Authority (GWTA) will be closed Monday. Normal GWTA operations will resume Tuesday.
