Wayne County, NC – The following schedule changes will be taking place next week in observance of Thanksgiving:
- County of Wayne Government Offices closed Thursday, November 28, 2019 and Friday, November 29, 2019. Offices will re-open Monday, December 2, 2019 for normal business hours.
- All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 and will remain closed Thursday and Friday. Library branches will be open on Saturday for normal Saturday hours.
- The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Senior Center will re-open Monday for normal business hours.
- The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Thursday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Friday for normal business hours.
- Wayne County Animal Services will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The animal shelter will re-open Monday for normal business hours.
