Local State of Emergency Declared
Wayne County has signed a local State of Emergency, following the Governor’s statewide declaration yesterday. While there are currently no restrictions under this declaration, it enables the County to:
- Request emergency assets
- Qualify for funding reimbursements
- Coordinate response efforts more effectively
This emergency declaration applies to all municipalities in Wayne County, with consent and request from each mayor.
