Reducing or ultimately eliminating injuries, accidents and loss to our employees and citizens has long-reaching effects on all our lives.
Coordinate OSHA Training
Investigate all injuries and near misses
Determine root causes and implement actions for prevention, planning and mitigation
Ensure the safety of all county employees concerning their safety at work and away from work
Make recommendations to County Manager on current local, state and national safety trends
Monitor compliance of Wayne County departments and personnel to OSHA, NC. Department of Labor and internal policies concerning loss control.
