The Wayne County Health Department and Wayne County Office of Emergency Services continue to coordinate with federal and state agencies to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak.

NC 2-1-1 is available 24/7 to answer COVID-19 questions. Simply call 211 or 888-892-1162. Sign up to receive text updates on COVID-19 in North Carolina by texting COVIDNC to 898211. 

The CDC recommends you stay home and separate yourself from other people in the home as much as possible if: you are sick with COVID-19, you believe you might have it, you think you might have COVID-19 and have mild symptoms. Before going to a health care provider, clinic, hospital or emergency room, call ahead to describe your symptoms and how you might have been exposed to the virus. 

If you do not have a primary care doctor, visit https://www.unchealthcare.org/ and click the purple "Coronavirus Help" tab at the bottom.

If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or call ahead then go to the Emergency Department.
